BAILEY THE COCKER SPANIEL

We had this sweet boy enrol on our Puppy Course.

His owner got in touch with us for help with the usual puppy troubles such as loose leash walking, excessive mouthing, and general obedience.

We started the session off straight away by going through how to get him engaged and utilising rewards.

Next, we covered how to stop the mouthing and chewing. Puppy’s will typically chew and mouth everything as they are teething, but we need to teach them from an early age they cannot do this as this will otherwise continue into adulthood.

We finished the session off by covering loose leash walking, and he did brilliantly.

At this age, expectations for obedience training and loose leash walking are relatively low as it’s more important for them to explore the world.
